Handel's Messiah
I feel like the Hallejuah Chorus is just as important to a choir concert as Sleigh Ride is to a band or orchestra concert. In my mind, there is no question that the Hallejuah Chorus is probably the most well-known song from Handel's Messiah. Today I had the chance to go to a Messiah sing-a-long that my stake put on. I thought it was really well done. I also learned a very important lesson: it is incredibly hard to sight-read Handel. I mean, really, really hard. I guess I should have know that since the music is so incredibly. I mean, truly beautiful and amazing music cannot be easily sight-read.

Inspirational Music
I absolutely love music that can lift me up. I love music that makes me want to sing the lyrics at the top of my voice. There is something so liberating and comforting when I find a song that fits my mood exactly. When I can just sing as loud as I want in my room or car, expressing my feelings perfectly through the music in my life. I love the music in my life that can help me when I am going through a hard time.
