Several Updates

Given my entire lack of posting for the past little while means I have many posts to catch up on. So, I am just going to post them all as a collective, very long entry. Just try to hang in there. I will try to keep it short.

THURSDAY
On Thursday I got an editorial published. I won't say where because it isn't worth reading. I am in a public speaking class, and if I get an editorial published, I am exempt from the final. So, I may have stated my opinions a lot stronger than I feel them in order to be exempt from taking the final.

Later that night I went to see Harry Potter. I absolutely loved it. It was fun to go to a midnight showing. I haven't done that in a long time. I went with my friend Allison. She pretty much rocks. And we went and saw Harry Potter 6 together last summer when we were in London.

FRIDAY
On Friday night I went to the Vocal Point concert. It was a very good concert. I really enjoyed all of the songs. I think it is one of their best performances I have seen. I went with my good friend Sarah. It was her first Vocal Point experience, and I am glad I could share it with her. The concert was especially good because I have a friend in the group now. He is the one singing the solo in the song I posted a link for.

SATURDAY
On Saturday I had my first experience with the Hale Center Theater in Orem. They were doing The Scarlet Pimpernel. I love the movie, but I had never seen the musical nor heard the musical. Both were absolutely amazing. A friend of mine from freshman year happened to be in it, and that made it all the better. After watching the amazing and moving performance, I am inclined to go to as many performances there as I can possibly manage.

The last home football game started at 4. I was actually there for the entire game for the first time this season. We won, which is always pretty exciting. Sadly, it was my last home football game with Rachel because she is going on a mission and won't be back until after I graduate.

SUNDAY
Mandy invited me to eat at the dorm cafeteria. They were serving my favorite Sunday meal, Chicken Cordon Bleu. YUM! So, not only did I not have to cook, but I got to eat one of my favorite meals without even paying. It was great. Not to mention how much fun I have whenever I hang out with Mandy. She is pretty much the coolest almost-relative anyone could ask for.

Well, there is my super long update. I hope I didn't bore anyone.
